Pine Warbler (Dendroica pinus ), Banning Creek Field Station, Cochise County

Winter is certainly the best season to find this warbler in Arizona. The first accepted record of Pine Warbler came in November 1987. There are still only about a dozen accepted records for the state, most from winter and from southeast Arizona. This well-documented individual was found at the Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory's Banning Creek Field Station in the Mule Mountains outside of Bisbee, Cochise County, by Tom Wood and Sheri Williamson on 22 January 2007.
