Indigo Bunting (Passerina cyanea), Sweetwater Wetlands, Pima County

This first winter, immature male Indigo Bunting was discovered and photographed by Andrew Core on 21 November 2008 at the Sweetwater Wetlands. 

Indigo Bunting is casual after about mid-October. 

Lazuli Bunting is eliminated by the whitish throat, cinnamon coloration overall, deep blue on the belly, wings and tail.
