Kentucky Warbler (Geothlypis formosa), South Fork Trail, Cave Creek Canyon, Portal, AZ, Cochise County.

This Kentucky Warbler was photographed by Debra Davison on 29 September 2020

A rare migrant in Arizona, more often seen in the spring.

Distinctive with entirely bright yellow underparts, blackish mask and sideburns, and a conspicuous yellow supercilium which wraps around the eye.
