Eared Quetzal (Euptilotis neoxenus), Cave Creek Canyon between Sunny Flat CG & SW Research Station, Cochise County

This Eared Quetzal was photographed by Diane Drobka on 28 September 2020, and was still present as of 21 October, when Steve Wolfe photographed the birds.

Male and female Eared Quetzals, presumably the same individuals that have been roaming around in the Chiricahua Mountains since June; note that the pair in Rucker Canyon was missed and absent for at least a week before these individuals were discovered in Cave Creek Canyon.
