Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), lower Ash Canyon, Cochise County

This Hooded Warbler was found by Karen LeMay and photographed by Robert Behrstock on 08 May 2020

Hooded Warbler is a rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. Records have increased in recent years, and this spring has seen above average numbers of this species.

Adult male is unmistakable. Bright yellow with black hood and bib.
