Least Grebe (Tachybaptus dominicus), Organ Pipe Cactus National Monumnet - Quitobaquito Spring, Pima County

This Least Grebe was found by Renee Tressler, Carla and Bill Hall on 01 March 2020 and photographed by Carla Hall and Renee Tressler on the same date.

A casual straggler to the state, often in ponds near the Mexican border; less than 30 accepted records.

Least Grebe is a small, short-necked grebe with yellow eyes, a thin dark bill, and a gray face, neck, and back.
