Blue-footed Booby (Sula nebouxii), Alamo Lake State Park, La Paz County

This Blue-footed Booby was found by Sally and Mike Foster on 01 November 2019 and photographed by Sally Foster on the same date and photographed by Janine McCabe on 08 November 2019.

If accepted by the ABC, this would be the 13th state record. Increasing visitor to the Pacific Coast of California with an increase in records outside of invasion years into the southwest.

Typical booby shape, with long pointed wings and tail, dagger-like blue bill. White underparts, dusky brownish head and neck, and a brown tail with a white base.
