Painted Bunting (Passerina ciris), Taylor, Navajo County

This Painted Bunting was found and photographed by Nick Worth on 12 August 2018

Painted Bunting is an uncommon to rare but regular, occasionally numerous late summer and early fall migrant in SE Arizona and is casual at other times and areas. This appears to be the third record for Navajo County.

Distinctive with uniform pale green plumage.
