House Finch (pigment deficient) (Haemorhous mexicanus), Santa Cruz Flats, Pinal County

This House Finch (pigment deficient) was found and photographed by J. Duerr on 05 February 2016

Plumage abnormalities, such as the pigment deficiency shown by this individual, are fairly common in House Finches.

Though lacking color, this bird shows the typical structure and bill shape of a House Finch.
