Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Arivaca Creek, Pima County

This Hooded Warbler was found by Keith Kamper and Patty Tersey on 12 August 2017 and photographed by Keith Kamper the same day.

Hooded Warbler is a rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. Records have increased in recent years.

Adult male is unmistakable. Bright yellow with black hood and bib.
