Magnolia Warbler (Setophaga magnolia), Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Pima County

This Magnolia Warbler was found by Carole DeAngeli and photographed by Buzz Hoffmann on 19 May 2017

A casual transient in Arizona. It is nearly annual as a migrant or winter visitor, but fall records are much more frequent than spring birds.

Black mask with a white eyebrow; Yellow underparts with thick black streaks on chest, forming a horizontal bar, and white undertail coverts.
