Harris's Sparrow (Zonotrichia querula), Hidden Valley, Pinal County

This Harris's Sparrow was found and photographed by Nancy Lange on 12 February 2017

Rare transient and winter visitor in Arizona.

Underparts whitish with dark brown smudgy markings along flanks and breast. Head and face warm brown with spotted crown. Bill large and pinkish orange.
