This Ruddy Turnstone was found and photographed by Caleb Strand on 19 August 2016

Casual fall transient formely more regular. First in the state since 2012 and if accepted by the ABC only the 6th state record since being placed back on the review list in 2007.

Stocky shorebird with short bill and legs, white throat patch, black breast, brown head, brownish/rufous coloring in wings, and white belly and undertail coverts.
