Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Ramsey Canyon Inn, Cochise County

This Hooded Warbler was found on 24 May 2012 by Michael Webster and continued through 25 May 2012 when when it was photographed by Thomas Ford-Hutchinson outside his room in the creek next to the Ramsey Canyon Inn.

Rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. A former review species, reports have increased over the last few years and there were multiple reports every year.  However, in the last couple of years, reports seem to have declined again. 

Male unmistakable even in this "documentation quality" photo.
