Dickcissel (Spiza americana), Hassayampa River Road Stop, Maricopa County

This female Dickcissel was discovered and photographed by Tommy DeBardeleben on 13 May 2012.

Rare but regular, perhaps increasing,  fall migrant, but accidental at other times.

House Sparrow like bird with dark malar and yellow breast and eyebrow.
