Nutting's Flycatcher (Myiarchus nuttingi), Mosquito Flats, Bill Williams River NWR, La Paz County

This Nutting's Flycatcher was discovered and photographed by Lauren Harter on 30 November 2012 and by Jack Holloway on 20 January 2013. 

Last year's returning bird (see here). 

Found by its diagnostic "wheep" call (recorded). ID points visible in these photographs include the short, stout bill; bright yellow belly; rufous extending to the tail tip; and rufous primaries blending into cinnamon outer secondaries.

Note the orange lining of the mouth in the photo below.  Although this field mark has been somewhat debated, Ash-throated has a more pinkish mouth lining.
