Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus), Lake Havasu - Bill Williams River NWR, Mohave County

This Lesser Black-backed Gull was discovered on 30 November 2012 by by Lauren Harter and is considered it to be a different bird than the one earlier at Rotary Park due to primary molt differences.  It was photographed by Lauren Harter and David Vander Pluym on 30 November 2012 and John West on 03 December 2012.

Only 2 previous accepted state records.

All dark bill, dark wings, smudge around eye and pale upper tail coverts and broad terminal band on light colored tail.
