Olive Warbler (Peucedramus taeniatus), Haulapai Mountain Park, near Kingman, Mohave County

This pair of Olive Warblers was discovered by Dan Pittenger and Nathan Marcy on 22 April 2011 and they observed them building a nest.  They were photographed by Dan Pittenger on the same day.

Only one previous undocumented sight record for Mohave County, but the species seems to be expanding its range north and west.

Even in this photo, the male is unmistakable with orange head, black mask, white wing bars and gray back.  The female is similar with yellow head and a trace of the male's mask.
