Black-throated Blue Warbler (Dendroica caerulescens), Behrstock/LeMay yard, Lower Ash Canyon, Huachuca Mts, Cochise County

This Black-throated Blue Warbler was discovered  by Robert Behrstock on 19 October 2010 in his backyard and these photos were taken on 23 October 2010. 

Rare migrant and casual winter visitor, most often reported in the fall. 

Dirty blue above, white below, broad black mask tapers downward to sides of upper breast, white in tail corners, folded wing shows white check at base of primaries. Flat "tack" call note similar to that of an icterid (such as a grackle).
