Gray Catbird (Dumetella carolinensis), Hidden Valley backyard, Pinal County

This Gray Catbird was discovered and photographed by Nancy Lange on 03 October 2009 in her backyard in Hidden Valley. 

Gray Catbird is a casual transient and winter visitor in Arizona away from its breeding areas in the extreme eastern part of the state. 

Overall gray with large black cap on head.
