Canada Warbler (Wilsonia canadensis), De Anza Trail, Tubac, Santa Cruz County

This Canada Warbler was discovered by Diane Touret on 15 October 2009 just north of the Tubac bridge and was photographed the same day by Andrew Core.

This is one of the rarer of the vagrant warblers to Arizona and there are fewer than 10 accepted records.

Plain gray back and tail; bright yellow underneath with black necklace; white eyering; white undertail coverts. This bird appears to be an adult female due to the muted necklace and gray face
