Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres), Willcox, Cochise County

This juvenile Ruddy Turnstone was discovered and photographed on 04 September 2009 by Dave Stejskal at the big pond at Willcox Twin Lakes Golf Course.

Ruddy Turnstone is a casual migrant in the state with late August-early September being the most reliable period to look for this species in Arizona.
