Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Las Cienegas, Pima County

This Yellow-throated Vireo was discovered by Keith Kamper in Empire Gulch at Las Cienegas on 31 May 2009.  It was photographed by Andrew Core on 04 June 2009.

A casual transient and summer visitor. There have been four reports of this species this spring, but there are only about 25 previous documented records.

Note bright yellow throat and spectacles.
