California Gull - Larus californicus (Latin Name), Lake in Christopher Columbus Park, Tucson, Pima County

This California Gull was discovered by Mark Stevenson on 04 March 2012 and was photographed by Pat Goltz on 05 March 2011.

Casual in SE Arizona outside of migration. 

White body, darker gray wings, dark iris with red rim, red gape, red and black marks on the tip of the bill. Large black area on tips of wings.
